Say this to your AI
Copy into your AI chat
I want to leave Page Lemon. What do I need to do?Or ask for one thing: "How do I download all my data?", "What happens to my sites if I cancel?", "I'm moving to another provider".
Downloading everything, cancelling, deleting your login and moving to another provider are done by you in the Page Lemon app, not in a chat. Your AI tells you where, and helps with a single site's files, your domain and the moved notice.
What your AI will ask you
- What you want: a copy of your data, to cancel and keep your free sites, to delete everything, or to move to another provider.
- Whether anything must stay online, such as a site, a domain or a form your customers use.
- Where you're going, if you know, and when.
What to have ready
- To be signed in to the Page Lemon app. For a workspace, you must be its Owner to cancel it, delete it or move it.
- If a site uses your own domain, the login of the company where its settings are kept.
- A place to keep the copy: the archive can be large.
What happens
- You download everything (below). Your AI helps you check the copy.
- You move any site you still need, and its domain, before anything is deleted.
- Your AI tells you in plain words what each step does and when, and nothing that can't be undone happens until you've said yes in the app.
- You cancel, delete or switch in the app. The app shows the dates, and we email you what changes before it does.
Download everything
Choose Download everything for your account, or for a workspace you're in. We email you a link that works for 7 days. The archive holds:
- every site's files, ready to publish at any host
- form replies, bookings and orders as CSV and JSON, and bookings also as an .ics file for any calendar app
- the users of each site
- your custom domains with their DNS records
- your account details
A README file in the archive lists what is included and what isn't. In a workspace, you get the sites you can open, and form replies and bookings only where you can read them.
One site, or any version
Open the site, then Settings → Versions & backup. Download .zip saves the live version, and Download next to an older version saves that one. Export one form's messages, one booking page's bookings or one of your lists from the site's Lists tab: open it, then More → Export CSV.
Move a site and its domain
Follow Move your site away: set the site up at the new host, point your domain there, and only then disconnect it here.
When the site has moved, its pagelemon.dev address can send visitors on for 90 days, free on every plan. Open the site's Settings → General → This site has moved, and choose whether visitors go straight to the new address or see a page with a link. When you delete a site, you can also leave a "moved to" notice at its address for 30 days.
Cancel your plan
Open Billing and cancel. Your sites stay online on Free. Before the Free limits apply, we email you what changes and when, including any older versions that will be removed, so you can download them first.
Delete your login and data
Deleting your login and data takes your sites offline and deletes them at once, and we can't send you a copy afterwards, so download everything first. Changed your mind? For 6 days, sign up again with the same email and choose Restore my account: it comes back with its sites, on Free. After that, it can't be undone.
Moving to another provider
Tell us you're moving, from Leaving Page Lemon in the app or by email to support@pagelemon.com. We start the switch when you ask, and no later than 2 months after you tell us. Your service keeps working for up to 30 days while you move. You can extend that once, for as long as you need.
After the move, your data stays available to download for at least 30 days. Then we delete it and confirm by email. You can ask us to delete it sooner. Switching and exports are always free. The binding text is in our Terms, section 10.
Your paid plan keeps running while your service works, an extension included. When that time ends, we cancel it and refund the unused part of the current billing period, so you don't need to cancel it yourself. Cancelling it sooner under Billing doesn't stop the move.
