Site check
Page Lemon checks your live site for the things that stop people finding it, trusting it or getting in touch: search basics, broken links, accessibility, speed, privacy and security, the features you added, and the basics your kind of business needs. Your AI gets each problem with the page it is on, why it matters and how to fix it.

Is my site ready to launch? Run the Page Lemon site check and go through it with meWhat your AI will ask you
- Your real details for anything missing, such as your opening hours, address, phone number, prices or returns policy. Your AI should never make them up.
- What a photo shows, for photos without a description.
- Your yes before it publishes the fixes.
- What you think of the parts only a person can judge, such as whether your main button is easy to find.
What to have ready
- Your business details: opening hours, address (or the area you serve), phone number, and for a shop your prices, delivery and returns. Nothing else; the check runs on Page Lemon.
What happens
- Your AI runs the check on the live version of your site. It changes nothing.
- It gets the problems, the most serious first, each with the pages, why it matters and the fix, and a short list of things to look at itself (how clear your main action is, your wording, the look on a phone).
- It shows you what it will change and asks for anything only you know. It publishes after your yes.
- It offers a test: it runs the check again on the new version and tells you what is fixed and anything left.
Every time you publish, Page Lemon also tells your AI about any serious problem it finds (for example a page loading insecure images). Nothing is ever blocked.
You can see the check in the app too: open your site, then the Site check tab. Ask your AI to fix these copies a message to paste into your AI.

Business basics
- Visitors can reach the business (a tel: or mailto: link, or a form).
- The main action (book, order, reserve) is on the site.
- Opening hours are shown.
- The address (or area served) is shown.
- The phone number is a tap-to-call tel: link.
- The menu is on the site.
- Prices are shown.
- Delivery or collection is explained.
- The returns and refunds policy is on the site.
The basics for your kind of business
Page Lemon works out what kind of business the site is for from its pages, then checks for:
- Café, restaurant or food business: visitors can reach the business; the main action is on the site; opening hours are shown; the address is shown; the phone number is a tap-to-call tel: link; the menu is on the site.
- Shop: visitors can reach the business; prices are shown; delivery or collection is explained; the returns and refunds policy is on the site.
- Local service (salon, trades, clinic, studio, lessons): visitors can reach the business; the main action is on the site; opening hours are shown; the address is shown; the phone number is a tap-to-call tel: link.
- Any other site: visitors can reach the business.
Good to know
- It is a check, not a judgement. It measures what can be measured from your files. Your AI also looks at things only a person can judge, such as whether the wording sounds like you, and says that part is its opinion.
- The same site gives the same result. Run it again without changing anything and you get the same list.
- What it reads: the pages and files as you published them. Anything a script adds to the page later isn't checked, and Page Lemon never fetches other websites (for example a share image hosted elsewhere).
- Big sites: up to 60 pages are checked, your home page first. Your AI can check any other page on its own.
- Your secrets stay secret. If a file contains something that looks like a secret key, the check names the file, never the key.
- More detail: Get found online and Accessibility check explain those two areas.
If something looks wrong, see Fix a problem.
