Your site is in safe hands.
You don’t need to be technical to run a safe website. Here is who can change your site, what happens to your visitors’ data, how undo works, and what we do if something goes wrong.
Who can change my site?
Only you, and the people you invite. Your AI can only do what you let it.
-
You choose who edits
Invite people as editors, who can change the site, or as viewers, who can only look. Every saved version shows who made it. Remove someone and they lose access straight away.
-
Your AI on a short lead
When you connect an AI, you choose what it may do, and you can limit it to one site. Big changes, like removing a passcode, renaming or handing over a site, wait for your click.
-
You hear about new connections
Every new AI connection or key added to your account shows in your notifications in the app, and we usually email you about it too. You can cut any connection off at any time.
-
Safe sign-in
Sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, with Google, or with a password of at least 15 characters. Passwords from known leaks are refused, and repeated wrong guesses lock the account for a while.
-
Private pages, if you want them
Lock the whole site or one section with a passcode, or let only invited people in. After 10 wrong passcode tries in 15 minutes, a visitor has to wait. Changing the passcode signs everyone out.
-
Our staff, on the record
Only named staff can reach our servers, each with their own key. Every staff action in our admin tools is written to a log.
What happens to my visitors’ data?
It stays yours. We don’t sell it, show ads or add trackers to your site.
On your site
- We never add ads, tracking scripts or cookies to your site.
- Visit counts work without cookies, and visitors’ IP addresses aren’t stored.
- Form messages and bookings go to you. You can download or delete them at any time.
- Forms refuse card numbers, bank details and passwords, and bot spam is dropped.
With us
- We never sell data or use your sites to train AI models.
- Passcodes are stored scrambled one way, so nobody at Page Lemon can read them.
- Card details go straight to our payment processor. We never see them.
- You can download your sites and delete your account at any time.
Can I undo a mistake?
Yes. Every time your site changes, the old version is kept, so going back takes one sentence.
Undo my last change
Done. Your site is back to how it was this morning.
Versions kept for you
Every version from the last 30 days, then one a week, up to your plan’s history: 7 days on Free, up to two years on bigger plans.
Nobody’s work is lost
If two people change the site at once, the second is told before saving, so nothing is silently overwritten.
Backed up all the time
Our database is copied to separate storage within seconds, and we practise restoring it. Recent backups are locked, so they can’t be deleted.
What if something goes wrong?
We plan for it. Here is what happens in the cases people ask about.
- You publish something by mistake
- Go back to the previous version in one step.
- You upload a file with a secret key in it
- Nothing is published, and you’re told which file to fix.
- Our server goes down
- We’re alerted within minutes. Public sites keep showing from copies around the world for up to 7 days while we fix it.
- Someone floods your site with fake traffic
- All traffic passes through a worldwide protection network first, which absorbs it.
- Someone pretends to be a bank or brand
- Names that imitate banks, brands or government are refused, and harmful sites can be taken offline at once.
- A data breach affects your data
- We email you without undue delay, aiming for within 48 hours, and tell you what we know and what we’re doing.
Where does my data live?
Our servers are in London, UK, and your site files and backups are stored in the EU. Our sign-in, payment and email providers process some data in the United States.
