Invites and the waitlist

For now, you need an invite to make a Page Lemon account, and so to keep a site. Publishing is open to everyone: your AI can still put a site online without an account or an invite.

What needs an invite

  • Publishing a site: no invite needed. Your AI publishes it and gives you a link to see it and a private link to keep it.
  • Keeping a site (so it stays online after the preview ends): needs an account, so it needs an invite.
  • Making an account: needs an invite.

If you already have a Page Lemon account, nothing changes for you.

Say this to your AI

If a friend sent you an invite link, open it and make your account. Page Lemon then gives you the same prompt as everyone else:

Deploy on PageLemon.com

Copy it into Claude, ChatGPT or another AI connected to Page Lemon. Your AI publishes your site. When you open the link to keep it, your invite is filled in if you opened the invite link on the same device; if not, type the code. Don't put your code in the chat: your AI doesn't need it.

You can use your invite in any of these places:

  1. On the invite page: open the link your friend sent you, choose Accept invite, then enter your email and choose Continue. We email you a link to finish making your account: open it from your inbox (check your spam folder if it isn't there) and finish signing up with that email address, or with Google using the same address.
  2. In your AI: on the device where you opened the invite link, paste the prompt above into your chat, then keep the site it publishes.
  3. When you sign up: enter the code when Page Lemon asks for an invite, if it isn't filled in already.
  4. On the keep-your-site page: after your AI publishes a site, open the private link to keep it and sign up there with your invite.

Good to know when you use one:

  • Sign up with an email address you can open: Page Lemon checks it before your invite is used.
  • If your friend tied the link to an email address, sign up with that address. You then don't need the code at all.
  • Each email address can use one invite. Throwaway email addresses can't.

If the page says your invite has expired, has been used or isn't valid, ask your friend for a new link, or join the waitlist.

No invite yet

You can still publish. Your site stays online for 72 hours without an account, as it always has.

To keep it, you need an invite:

  1. Ask a friend who uses Page Lemon for one of their invite links.
  2. Or join the waitlist: enter your email and tick the box to hear from us. You can also join from the page that keeps your site.

We send one email to say you're on the list, and one with your invite when your place is ready. Nothing else. The invite in that email is tied to your address: sign up with the same address before the date it gives. If your preview has ended by then, ask your AI to publish the site again.

Share your invites

Once you have kept your first site, you get 5 invite links in total.

  1. Sign in to the Page Lemon app.
  2. Open Invite links.
  3. Make a link and copy it. You can tie it to your friend's email address so only they can use it.

You can also ask your AI for an invite link:

Copy into your AI chat

Give me a Page Lemon invite link for my friend.

How the links count:

  • Each link works once, for one person.
  • A link you make holds one of your 5 until someone uses it.
  • A link nobody uses expires after 14 days, and you get it back. You can also cancel a link you no longer need to get it back.
  • Only links someone joined with use one up. Your 5 don't start again each month.

See who joined

Invite links in the app shows each link you made:

  • Waiting: nobody has used it yet. It shows when it expires.
  • Joined: someone made an account with it. It shows who.
  • Expired: nobody used it in 14 days. It no longer works, and you have that invite back.
  • Cancelled: you cancelled it before anyone used it. It no longer works, and you have that invite back.

Good to know

  • Someone didn't get your invite to a site or workspace? On the site's People tab, or the workspace's People page, choose Resend next to them. They get a new link, and the old one stops working.
  • Invites are free. Don't sell them or swap them for anything of value, and don't post them publicly: anyone who has a link can use it.
  • This is only while accounts are invite-only. When Page Lemon opens to everyone, invites and the waitlist go away, and anyone can make an account and keep a site.
