Contact forms

Ask your AI for a contact, enquiry or sign-up form. It goes on your own page, in your design, and every message is emailed to you. There's no form service to sign up for.

What happens

  1. Your AI adds the form to your page, styled to match, and publishes the site.
  2. It sends one test message before telling you the form is live. Tests aren't emailed to you or counted.
  3. When a visitor presses Send, the message is emailed to your account email. Hit reply and you're writing to the person who sent it.
  4. Messages are also kept in your account: open the site → Messages.

Read and sort your messages

Ask your AI about them, open the site → Messages in your account, or open Notifications (the bell at the top): its Forms tab lists new messages from all your sites, with a filter for one site.

  • Mark messages as read, spam or handled, or move them to the bin. Binned messages are deleted 30 days later.
  • Download them as a spreadsheet: ask your AI to export them, or use Export CSV.
  • A message read on Notifications is read in the site's Messages too, and in a workspace it's read for everyone, so nobody answers it twice.
  • Reading messages through your AI marks nothing as read. Your AI marks them read only when you ask.

Also send form messages to sam@example.com

Extra inboxes come with Team (5, your own address included) and Company (15). On Free, Prompter and Builder, alerts go to your own email only. You approve it once in your browser, then Sam confirms by email before anything is sent to them. Extra addresses are inboxes for your whole account: on Notifications → Email settings in the app, tick what each one gets (form messages, bookings, orders). They all share your daily email alerts.

How the emails reach you

On Notifications → Email settings in the app (the gear button), choose for form messages, bookings and orders:

  • As they come (the default): one email for each, up to your plan's number a day (Prompter 20, Builder 50, Team 100, Company 200). After that, the rest come together in one summary email the next morning.
  • Once a day: one summary email each morning.
  • Off: no emails; messages are still kept for you and still show on Notifications.

Or ask your AI:

Send me form messages once a day

Booking notices for a booking in the next 24 hours always come straight away.

Keep nothing, just email

By default Page Lemon keeps your messages so you and your AI can look back at them. If you'd rather we kept nothing:

Don't keep form messages, just email them to me

Each message is then only emailed to you. Your AI has no messages to show you, so keep the emails.

Good to know

  • Up to 20 forms on one site, on every paid plan. One form can ask different questions with its fields; the real limit is form messages a month.
  • Your design. The form is plain HTML on your page, so it uses your fonts and colours. It works without JavaScript.
  • Spam. A hidden trap field, a check that the form was sent from your own site, and limits on repeated sending drop simple spam.
  • No sensitive fields. Forms refuse card numbers, bank details, passwords and ID numbers.
  • Your own thank-you. Ask for your own message after sending, or a thank-you page on your site.
  • Busy days. You get an email for each message up to your plan's number a day (Prompter 20, Builder 50, Team 100, Company 200). The rest come together in one summary email the next morning. Nothing is lost: a form that keeps no copy has its messages written out in full in that summary.
  • Over the monthly number, visitors see a polite note and you're emailed once. The count starts again next month.
