Give Pro users more AI, and get paid for it.

Set how much AI each plan gets an hour, a day and a month. Users upgrade through your own Stripe account, and Page Lemon checks their plan on every question.

  • Everyone gets your everyday limits. Your paying users get more, up to 30 questions an hour, 100 a day and 3,000 a month per user.
  • Money goes straight to your Stripe account. Page Lemon’s fee on paid memberships comes on top of Stripe’s (see pricing).
  • No AI credits to buy and nothing that runs out mid-month: your users’ questions run on your own key, at your provider’s normal prices.

Your users’ data stays theirs. Your bill stays yours.

The safety rules are run by Page Lemon on every question, not written into each app. That’s what makes it safe to open to paying strangers.

  • Only what they could already see

    The AI reads a user’s own entries, entries shared with their group and lists you’ve made public. Never another user’s entries, emails or files.

  • Limits for every user

    By default 10 questions an hour and 20 a day per user, 500 a day for your site, one answer at a time. You can set them lower.

  • A monthly budget

    An email at 80% and a pause at 100%, until next month or a higher budget. Set a spending limit with your provider too: our figure is an estimate.

  • Your key, sealed

    You add it in your Dashboard after confirming it’s you with a code, never in a chat. It’s sealed on our server and never sits in your pages.

  • See what you used

    The usage panel shows questions, tokens and estimated cost by day, plan or user, with a CSV download.

  • Off in one click

    Pause your AI from the Dashboard at any time. Answers say “AI answer, may be wrong”, and questions and answers are never stored.

How it works

Four steps, and the only technical one takes a few minutes.

  1. Describe your app

    Tell Claude, ChatGPT or the AI you use what you want. It builds the pages, the sign-in, the plans and the AI parts on Page Lemon.

  2. Try it on our key

    On any plan, try AI free for a short trial on Page Lemon’s key and a free model we choose. It runs on your pagelemon.dev address, for you and your test users in preview, not on a custom domain. Then add your own key. Use made-up entries, not real customer data.

  3. Add your own key

    On a paid plan, make a key with OpenAI, Anthropic or OpenRouter, set a spending limit there, and paste it under Apps → AI in your Dashboard, never in a chat. How to get a key

  4. Set limits, then open up

    Choose what each user and each plan gets, and your monthly budget. Then share your app.

What you need

Try AI in apps free on any plan, on our key. To open it to your users, you need a paid plan and your own key. Your AI provider bills you for the questions; Page Lemon bills nothing for AI. See pricing

Good to know

  • Text and photos in, text out. No image making, voice, web search or tools, so it can’t send emails or change your data.
  • Chat is for signed-in users. The conversation stays in their browser tab; closing it starts over.
  • Photo suggestions only fill in a form. The user checks it and saves it themselves.
  • Not for health, mood or therapy records, or for children (Acceptable Use).
  • Providers: OpenAI, Anthropic and OpenRouter, which reaches many other models.
  • Trial requests go through OpenRouter to the free model’s provider, which may log them. Try it with made-up entries.
  • Your own AI chat that runs your app is a different feature: running your app by chat.

Questions

Do I need to code?

No. You describe the app to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI you use, and it builds the pages and the AI parts. Page Lemon runs the sign-in, payments, users’ data and the AI calls.

What’s an AI key, and what does it cost?

A key is a code from an AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic or OpenRouter) that lets Page Lemon ask its AI for you. You make one in a few minutes on the provider’s site and pay them their normal prices for what your users use. Page Lemon sells no AI credits and bills nothing for AI. How to get a key

Can users chat with it?

Yes. Signed-in users chat about their own data, the answer streams in, and they can stop it, copy it or try again. The conversation stays in their browser tab, so closing it starts over. Chat is text only.

Can a user see someone else’s data through the AI?

No. The AI only reads what that user could already read: their own entries, entries assigned to them or shared with their group, and lists you’ve made public. Never other users’ entries, emails or files.

Can I charge users for AI?

Yes. Give your paying users more AI an hour, a day and a month, up to 30 an hour, 100 a day and 3,000 a month per user. Users pay you through your own Stripe account, and Page Lemon checks their plan on every question.

What stops one user running up my bill?

Can I try it before I pay?

Yes, on every plan. Your account can try AI free for a short trial, counted from your first request (see pricing). It runs on Page Lemon’s key and a free model we choose (currently NVIDIA Nemotron, through OpenRouter), on your pagelemon.dev address and its preview, for you and your test users. It doesn’t run on a custom domain, and it doesn’t renew. The model’s provider may log the requests, so use made-up entries. After that, add your own OpenRouter key, which needs a paid plan.

Which AI providers can I use?

OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude) or OpenRouter, which reaches many other models. You add the key in your Page Lemon Dashboard after confirming it’s you with a code, never in a chat.

Does it work for visitors who haven’t signed in?

Yes, for single answers (not chat) about the public lists you choose, like your menu. Visitors pass a quick check and get up to 10 questions an hour. Chat, photos and users’ data need a user to sign in.
