Post to your blog by sending a message

Ask your AI to add a blog in your site’s design. Then paste your notes, say “post this Monday at 9”, and it goes live on time, with its own page on your site, ready for search.

No blog platform to sign up for. Your posts live on your own site.

Example: your AI turns rough notes into a blog post and schedules it for Monday.

How it works

You ask once for the blog. After that, each post is a paste and a sentence.

  1. Ask for a blog

Say “add a blog to my site”. Your AI makes a blog page that lists your posts, newest first, and a page for each post, in your site’s colours and fonts. It shows you the plan before it saves anything.

    One message

  2. Send your notes

Paste a draft or rough notes and say when it should go up. Your AI tidies them into a post with a title and a summary. Or write it yourself in the app, with headings, links and pictures.

    A paste and a sentence

  3. It goes up on time

At the time you chose, the post gets its own page, such as /blog/our-autumn-menu-is-here. It’s at the top of your blog page and in your sitemap for search engines.

    Nothing more to do

Say this to your AI

Add a blog to my site on PageLemon.com, with a page for every post

Try it live

Sorrel, a made-up bistro, has a real blog on Page Lemon: posts newest first, each with its own page.

Or start from the Margin template

What you get

A blog that runs itself. Each of these is one sentence to your AI.

  • A page for every post

Each post has its own address on your site, made from its title, with its own title and share picture. The address stays when you change the title, and if you change the address, the old one still leads to the post.

  • Schedule a post

“Post this on Monday at 9.” It goes up on Monday at 9, in your site’s time zone. Until then it isn’t on your blog, in your sitemap or in your feed.

  • Undo any change

Undo a post change in one click or one sentence. Removed posts wait in Recently removed for 30 days, and Changes shows who changed what.

  • Bring your old posts

Give your AI a spreadsheet of your posts. It shows what it will add, and saves only when you say yes. One Undo takes the whole import back.

Everything else a blog needs
  • Pictures and formatting. Headings, bold, links, lists, quotes and pictures with captions. Write in Markdown, paste from a document, or add pictures in the app.
  • Hide or take down. “Hide the post about last year’s prices.” It leaves your site but stays in your list to bring back. Drafts work the same way.
  • Newest posts on your home page. “Show my newest 3 posts on the home page.” A new post shows there as soon as it’s up.
  • Feed and sitemap. Every post is in your sitemap, so search engines find it. Ask for a feed, and readers can follow you in a news reader app.
  • Authors. Give each post a writer, with their name and photo, and a page that lists their posts.

Instead of

What you can stop juggling.

  • A separate blog platformYour posts live on your own site, in its design, on the plan you already have.
  • Copying posts into a website editorPaste your notes to your AI. It tidies them, formats them and posts them.
  • Remembering to post on the daySay when, and the post goes up on time while you get on with your day.

To be fair: Page Lemon doesn’t email your posts to subscribers, and posts have no comments. If you want a newsletter, Ghost or Substack do that; this is the blog on your own site.

Good for

Anyone with news to share. Each post starts with a sentence like these.

Questions

More in the guide: Make a blog.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. A blog works on every plan, Free included, once your site is kept in your account. Each post counts as one list item, and paid plans hold more of them per site. Your own domain and no Page Lemon badge come with every paid plan.

Can I write a post now and publish it later?

Yes. Give the post a date and time, or say “post this on Monday at 9”. Until then it isn’t on your site at all: no page, not in your sitemap or feed. You can still see and change it in the app.

Can readers get my posts by email?

No. Page Lemon doesn’t send newsletters or keep a list of subscribers. Need a newsletter? Ghost or Substack do that; this is the blog on your own site. Readers can follow your feed in a news reader app.

Can readers leave comments?

No, posts have no comments. To hear from readers, ask your AI for a contact form on your site, on any paid plan.

Which AI can I use?

Claude, ChatGPT and many other AI apps. Connect yours once, in about two minutes, and it can set up and run your blog. You can also write and edit posts in the Page Lemon app.

Do I have to use the blog feature?

No. Your AI can also write each post as a plain page, and that works fine. The blog feature helps when you post often: one design for every post, a blog page that lists them for you, and changes in seconds.

Can I move my posts?

Yes. Download everything in your account gives you your sites and every list as a spreadsheet file, posts included. To bring posts in from another blog, give your AI a spreadsheet of them.

What happens to a post’s address if I change its title?

The address stays the same. If you change the address itself, the old one sends readers to the new one.

Do readers get a feed?

Yes, if you ask for one: a feed of your newest posts for news reader apps. It isn’t served while your site is behind a passcode or invite-only.

Is a blog the same as Lists?

A blog is built on Lists: your posts are a list, and each post gets its own page. You don’t need to know that to use it. Ask for a blog, and your AI sets it all up. Lists can also hold other things, such as events or a menu.
