For student societies and clubs

A society site that survives the next committee

Upcoming events, a sign-up form and a call for speakers, run by the committee from their own AI. At the end of the year, hand the site to the next committee.

  • Event sign-up form
  • The committee edits
  • Handover each year

This is for you if you say

The problem

Every year a new committee starts from nothing, because the site belonged to someone who graduated.

How Page Lemon helps

The committee edits as Site Developers. When the year ends, transfer the site to the new president, who accepts it by email. The history stays with it.

How it goes

From one line in your AI chat to a site that works for you.

  1. You paste one line

Build with PageLemon.com: a site for our debating society, with upcoming events, a sign-up form and a call for speakers

Into Claude, ChatGPT or any AI chat. Your AI asks for your details: names, prices, times and photos.

  2. Your AI builds these pages

    Next night
The next event, with the date, room and what to bring.
    Join
A sign-up form for new members, sent to the committee’s email.
    Past talks
Every event so far, so new members see what they missed.
    Speak
A call for speakers, with a form for name, topic and dates.
    Organisers
This year’s committee and how to reach them.
  3. It’s live, and you run it from the chat

    debate-society.pagelemon.dev/talks

Page Lemon runs the parts behind it:

    • Sign-up forms
    • The committee edits
    • Yearly handover
    • Events as a list

To change anything later, ask your AI. Every version is saved.

Start with one line

Paste one of these into your AI chat (Claude, ChatGPT or another). Your AI asks for your details, builds the site and puts it online at a free address.

You type in your AI chat

  1. Deploy on PageLemon.com

The quickest start: your AI asks what the site is for, picks a design and puts it online.

  2. Build with PageLemon.com: a site for our debating society, with upcoming events, a sign-up form and a call for speakers

Your AI builds the site and both forms, and sends a test of each.

  3. Use template pagelemon.com/tp/Huddle for our monthly talks night, with a sign-up form

Starts from the Huddle template: dark violet, a speech bubble for each talk.

Once it’s live, ask your AI

Three things you might say next, and what happens.

You type in your AI chat

  1. Add the freshers’ social, 3 October at 7 in the union bar

The event appears at the top of the events page.

  2. Transfer the site to our new president, ama@uni.ac.uk

You approve it, and Ama accepts by email. Until then, you can cancel.

  3. How many people signed up this month?

Your AI counts the sign-ups. They’re also a private list you can export from the app as a spreadsheet (CSV).

What it costs

Questions

Can members pay their membership on the site?

On a paid plan, add a Buy button with a Payment Link from your society’s own Stripe account, or link to your students’ union page. Paid memberships, with pages only paying users open, come with some paid plans: see pricing.

Where do sign-ups go?

To the email you choose, such as the committee’s shared inbox. Each one is also kept in the Page Lemon app, and your AI can list this term’s new members.

Can we have a members-only page?

A passcode on the whole site works on any plan. Locking one page on a public site needs a paid plan. See private sites.

Can the whole committee edit it?

Yes, on a paid plan: invite each committee member as a Site Developer. They change it from their own AI, and you see who changed what.

How do we hand it to next year’s committee?

Transfer the site to the new president’s email. They accept by signing in, and the site stays online throughout. See hand over a site.

Does the next committee need to pay?

The person who owns the site has the plan. Site Developers need only a free account.

Can we keep old events?

Yes. Ask your AI to move them to the Past talks page or an archive, so the home page always shows what’s next.
