Page Lemon vs Vercel: which fits you?
Vercel is a developer platform that deploys web apps, especially Next.js, with usage-based plans and seats for developers. Page Lemon hosts sites your own AI makes, with a blog, forms and booking ready-made, and nothing to set up.
We make Page Lemon, so we aren’t neutral. We say where the other tool is the better choice, and every fact about it comes from its own website.
Deploy on PageLemon.com
Done. It’s live at yoursite.pagelemon.dev
- Page Lemon
- In the AI chat you already use
- Vercel
- From your code and Git, or Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor through Vercel’s MCP server
The short answer
Vercel deploys code projects and is the home of Next.js. Its official MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and other approved AI tools search its documentation, manage projects and deployments, read deployment logs and query web analytics. Its Hobby plan is for personal, non-commercial use, and Pro is billed per developer seat with usage on top.
Page Lemon is for people who don’t want to run any of that. You can publish a site from any AI with no account, keep the link, and keep editing from any AI, with forms, booking, private pages and apps with sign-in ready-made. If your site is a Next.js app or needs server code, Vercel is the stronger choice. If you want a site you change by asking, Page Lemon is simpler.
Which one fits you
Choose Vercel if
- Your site is a Next.js or other framework app
- You need server functions and want to manage deployments and logs
- You work with developers in a Git repository
- You want usage-based hosting that scales with traffic
Choose Page Lemon if
- You don’t want to manage builds, repositories or deployments
- You want forms, booking and pages for signed-in users ready-made
- You want a business site, not only a hobby one, on a plan with no per-developer price
- You want to publish and edit from whichever AI you already use
Using both
You don’t have to pick one. Your AI can talk to both from the same chat.
Both from one chat
Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can connect to Vercel’s MCP server and to Page Lemon, so one chat can look at a Vercel deployment and launch a simple site on Page Lemon.
Vercel for the app, Page Lemon for the pages
Keep the Next.js app on Vercel. Put the business site, a booking page or a private area for your users on Page Lemon, on a subdomain of your own domain.
Moving a plain site across
A project that builds to plain pages can be published here by asking a coding AI such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor to “Deploy on PageLemon.com”. One that uses Next.js server features needs rebuilding. Our move guide has the steps.
Side by side
| Topic | Vercel | |
|---|---|---|
| How you build | With the AI you already use: Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or another AI app. No design tool to learn. | In your own code, deployed from Git or the Vercel CLI. v0, Vercel’s AI app builder, is a paid add-on on Pro. |
| Changing it later | Ask your AI in plain English. Earlier versions are kept, and you can go back with a sentence. How far back depends on your plan. | Change the code and deploy again, or ask a connected AI tool to help. |
| Connecting an AI | Connect once, then publish and edit from Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and other AI apps. Connect your AI. | A remote MCP server at mcp.vercel.com with OAuth, available on all plans. It works with the AI clients Vercel has approved, including Claude, ChatGPT, Codex CLI and Cursor, and it gives the AI your Vercel account’s access. |
| AI help | Your own AI does the writing, on the plan you already have. Page Lemon has no AI credits. | Vercel Agent is in beta and not on Hobby; on Pro it is billed by token. The AI Gateway is on all plans. |
| Price basis | A free plan, then paid plans with one flat price per plan, each covering several sites. See plans. | Hobby is free for personal, non-commercial use. Pro is $20 a month per developer seat with $20 of usage included, and usage beyond that is pay-as-you-go. |
| People who can edit | Several people on every paid plan, for one flat price. Workspaces with roles on Company. | Hobby has one developer seat. Pro charges per developer seat, and viewer seats are unlimited. |
| Forms and booking | Forms and booking are ready-made on paid plans, with an email to you for each new message. | Vercel’s pricing page doesn’t list forms or booking. |
| Your own domain | On every paid plan, up to your plan’s allowance. | Vercel’s pricing page doesn’t describe custom domains by plan; check Vercel’s documentation. |
| Taking your site elsewhere | Download the whole site as a .zip from the app any time. Lists, posts included, export as CSV and JSON. | Your site is your own code, so you can host it anywhere that runs it. |

Questions
More answers in the help center.
Can I use Vercel and Page Lemon together?
Yes. Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can connect to Vercel’s MCP server and to Page Lemon. Keep apps on Vercel and put simple sites, booking pages or private areas on Page Lemon.
Can I move a Vercel site to Page Lemon?
If it builds to plain pages, yes: ask a coding AI to publish it with “Deploy on PageLemon.com”. If it uses Next.js server features, those parts need rebuilding.
Can I run a business site on Vercel’s free plan?
