Rates for Curlew Cottage, by season
Prices are per night for the whole cottage, which sleeps four. Cleaning, linen and logs are included. The dog fee and deposit are below the table.
Low season
November to March

Mid season
April to June, September and October

High season

How long you stay
Three nights at least, and weeks in summer
- Three-night minimum outside July and August.
- July and August weekly stays run Saturday to Saturday, seven nights. At the high-season rate, a week costs £1,225.
- Check-in from 4pm. Check-out by 10am.
Extras
One dog, £20 per stay
- Dog £20 per stay, one dog, on the house rules in the guest guide.
- Included the final clean, bed linen, towels, logs and firelighters.
- Not included food, parking permits and any travel insurance.
Deposit and balance
Pay 30% to confirm, the rest six weeks before
We confirm your dates by email, then send a link to pay the deposit. The balance is due six weeks before arrival.
For bookings made less than six weeks before arrival, the full amount is due when we confirm your dates.
Example
Three nights in mid season
3 nights at £140 a night is £420. The 30% deposit is £126, paid to confirm. The balance of £294 is due six weeks before you arrive.
Dog fee is added to the total, so the deposit rises with it.
Cancellation
If your plans change
These terms are the same for every booking made direct with us. If we cancel, you get a full refund.
- 8 weeks or more before arrival: we refund the deposit, less a £25 admin fee.
- Between 6 and 8 weeks: we keep the deposit.
- Less than 6 weeks: we keep the full payment.
