We met redesigning the same failing bakery in different jobs. We have been arguing productively ever since.
Tandem has no juniors, no account managers and no hand-offs. Whoever you talk to on the first call is drawing or writing your project. The other partner reviews every stage, so you always get two opinions and one decision.

A former newspaper sub-editor who learned to code for a local news site. Kit writes the words and builds the website, so neither waits for the other.

Yes. Most identity work is Mara’s and most websites are Kit’s. The other partner still reviews it, at no extra cost.
Usually six to eight weeks. Small writing jobs can sometimes start sooner.
Most clients are elsewhere in the UK. We meet on a call and travel for print checks and launches.
Half at the start, half at hand-over. Projects over £8,000 split into three payments.
