I started in publishing, where a sentence had to earn its place.
After eight years editing small magazines and writing for independent makers, I set up Brief. Now I work directly with founders and small teams: close enough to understand the business, far enough away to ask the obvious question.

Home is Merrowby, where I work from a room above a former print shop. Most projects happen remotely, with a good conversation and a shared document.
