Sizing
Measure it, do not guess
Vintage labels run small and boxy, so the size on the tag can mislead. Lay the piece flat, measure it, then compare with the table.
How to measure
- Lay the piece flat on a table, buttoned and with the sleeves down.
- A, chest: measure armpit to armpit across the front, then double it.
- B, length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder seam to the hem.
- C, sleeve: measure from the shoulder seam down to the cuff edge.
- Compare the numbers with the table. Round up if you like a looser fit.
Size table
| Size | Chest | Length | Sleeve |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 88 to 92 | 66 | 62 |
| M | 96 to 100 | 70 | 64 |
| L | 104 to 108 | 74 | 66 |
| XL | 112 to 116 | 78 | 68 |
Dresses: measure the bust and the length from the shoulder strap, the same way. Send us the numbers and we will say how a piece compares.
Still unsure?
Send us the chest, length and sleeve of a jacket you already own. We will say how a piece on the rail compares.
