Ten study-room KS3/GCSE lessons: £400, used within one term. Online and A level lessons use the single-lesson rates. Siblings in the same group get 10% off.
The small print
Cancelling and moving lessons
- Give 24 hours’ notice and there’s no charge.
- Less than 24 hours and the lesson is charged, unless your child is ill.
- If I cancel, you’re never charged, and I’ll offer another time that week.
- Lessons pause in the summer holidays unless you ask for exam catch-up.

Questions parents ask
Which exam boards do you teach?
All the main GCSE and A level boards. I check your child’s specification and use their board’s past papers.
How many lessons will my child need?
Most pupils come weekly for a term or two. Before exams some come twice a week. I’ll tell you honestly when they no longer need me.
Can I sit in?
Yes, for the first lesson and any time after. Many parents wait downstairs with a cup of tea.
Do you set homework?
A short sheet each week, about 20 minutes, checked at the start of the next lesson.
How do online lessons work?
A video call and a shared whiteboard. For under-16s an adult needs to be at home. Lessons are never recorded without your yes.
Do you help with access arrangements?
I’ve taught many pupils with dyslexia and dyscalculia. Tell me what the school has in place and I’ll work the same way.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer within a week of each lesson, or a block of ten in advance. I send a simple invoice each month.
Do you teach in the holidays?
Easter holidays, yes: most families want revision then. Summer holidays only for exam catch-up.
