The order of the day, under the apple trees.
Nothing is rushed. Sit down when you like, walk the orchard, and leave when the barn lights come up. Times are approximate, and the team will nudge us along.
Running order
Guests arrive
Follow the lane through the gate. Shuttle from the Carter Arms lands at 1.30pm and 1.50pm.
Ceremony
Under the old apple trees. Order of service is on the chairs, and the readings are short.
Photographs
Family groups in the orchard. Grab a sweet pea from the table on your way to the lawn.
Garden drinks
Elderflower spritz, lawn games and a bench for anyone who needs one.
Supper in the barn
Three courses, served to your table. Your chosen main is marked on the place card.
First dance and speeches
Short speeches, and Rafael has been told to keep the bees out of them.
Dancing
The barn floor opens, with a late snack by the door and a quiet room upstairs.
Last shuttle
The final shuttle back to the Carter Arms leaves from the barn gate.
The orchard
The ceremony is on grass under the old apple trees. Flat shoes are kind to the lawn, and there is a covered path to the barn.
The barn
A wooden floor, no bad seats and a bar by the door. Step outside any time for air.

Your place at the table depends on your reply, so the caterers know what to cook.
