Data and privacy
What Orbit reads, where it lives and what we never touch.
Does Orbit read our source code?
No. We collect commit timestamps, pull request metadata, review events and deployment statuses. We do not collect file contents or diffs.
Where is our data stored?
Metrics are stored in the region you choose when you create the workspace. Backups stay in that same region.
Can we delete everything?
Yes. Deleting a workspace removes its metadata within 30 days, including backups, and we confirm in writing once it is done.
Who can see individual activity?
Workspace admins choose who sees which team. Orbit has no individual scores, so there is no ranking to see.
Setup
Connecting takes minutes and needs nothing installed on your team's machines.
Will my team need to install anything?
No desktop agents, browser extensions or time tracking. One workspace connection covers the repositories you choose.
Can we bring our existing history?
Yes. Your first connection imports up to 90 days of metadata. Launch keeps the most recent 30 days; paid plans keep a full year.
Does it work with our CI?
Build and deployment events arrive through a small webhook. If your pipeline can send an HTTPS request, it can send them to Orbit.
Plans and billing
Plans are per workspace. Teammates are never billed individually.
What happens after the trial?
You can choose a paid plan or continue on Launch. We never charge a card you have not added, or change your plan without asking.
Do you charge per person?
No. Plans are priced per workspace, and teammates are unlimited on every plan.
Can we change plans later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrades apply straight away, and downgrades take effect at the next billing date.
Can we pay by invoice?
Yes. Annual plans can be paid by invoice. Prices are in USD, before applicable tax.
