Help small courier firms get every drop out on time.
Tidewater Labs builds route-planning software for small courier firms. We are 34 people, based on Gantry Wharf. Most of us are in the office two days a week, and some roles are fully remote. We are hiring across engineering, product, design, customer success and operations.
Every van should know its route before it leaves the yard.
Small courier firms run on a dispatcher, a whiteboard and a lot of phone calls. Our planner works out the order of stops, loading-bay times and the road closures on the way, so the first drop is already right when the driver starts. We build it with the firms that run it every morning, and we change it when they tell us it is wrong.
Real customers, a small team, and work that is checked on the road.
-
Your work reaches a dispatch desk within weeks
We release to customers every fortnight. The dispatcher who uses a change is the one who tells us whether it works, and you hear it from them.
-
Small enough to change things
Product, engineering and design sit at the same tables on Gantry Wharf. A decision made at Tuesday’s planning is often in the next fortnightly release.
-
Two office days, agreed with your team
Most of the week is yours to plan. The office days are for planning, pairing and a team lunch that nobody cancels.
