How joining works

Most people join after two or three practices. Nobody is asked to ring on their first visit.

Eight bell ropes hang from the ceiling of the ringing room, each ending in a gold sally
  1. Come to a practice

Bring ears and a bit of patience. Wear shoes you can stand in for an hour.

  2. Talk to the tower captain

Desmond Hargreave will talk you through the bell and the rope after the bells go quiet.

  3. Send the form

The membership secretary replies within seven days, with the first practice date.
