Privacy notice
Template: fill in every highlighted blank before clients use this site. This is a starting point, not legal advice.
Who is responsible
[Business name], [address], decides how your information is used (the controller). Page Lemon hosts this site, runs the sign-in and stores client details, requests, reports and photo links for us as our processor.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number, to arrange the meet and greet, sign you in and get in touch.
- Your street and the keys arrangement, so the walker can reach your home.
- Each dog’s name, breed, age, walk style, vet practice name, and anything we should know on walks, plus a photo if you add one.
- Walk bookings: the dog, the walk, the date, the pick-up window and your note, with the status and replies we add.
- Walk reports we write: the date, the walk, the route, minutes and distance, how it went and a link to that day’s photo album.
- Your plan (pay as you go or Weekday regular) and its renewal; Stripe takes the weekly payment and we never see your card.
- Sign-in records (when and from which browser), to keep your account safe.
We never ask for card, bank or ID numbers here. Payment is arranged separately.
Why
To arrange and carry out the walks, sittings and visits you book, and to tell you about each one ([legal basis, for example: taking steps to enter a contract with you, and the contract itself]).
Who sees it
You see only your own details, requests and walk reports. Photo albums are shared with the client they belong to. [Who at the business sees them, for example: Bea Langridge-Osei and any walker she books in].
How long we keep it
[For example: 2 years after your last walk, and invoices for 6 years as UK tax rules require]. When you leave, your dogs, requests, reports and photo links are deleted, except records we must keep by law, which we tell you about.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object. Write to [privacy email]. You can also complain to [your data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK].
