Privacy notice
Template: fill in every highlighted blank before you sell tickets. This is a starting point, not legal advice.
Who is responsible
Saltmarsh Sessions, Old Ferry Green, Brackwater QY1 4EF, decides how your information is used. The organiser is Wren Castellane. Page Lemon hosts this site and the sign-in for us, as our processor. Payments are taken by [payment provider, for example Stripe] under its own terms.
What we collect
- Your email address, to send your invitation and sign-in codes.
- Your ticket: the ticket type, the reference, the name of the holder and the gate.
- The sets you add to My day and your notes on them.
- Gate records: when your code was scanned, at which gate, and which steward scanned it.
- Sign-in records (when and from which browser), to keep your account safe.
Why
To sell you a ticket, let you into the festival and keep the gate safe ([legal basis, for example: our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in safe entry]).
Who sees it
You see your own tickets and codes. The scan screen shows stewards your display name, check-in counts and available actions. They check your ticket type separately. [Who else sees it, for example: the ticket office team and the payment provider].
Your code does not contain your details. It changes every minute and works once.
How long we keep it
[For example: ticket and gate records for 12 months after the festival; payment records for 6 years, as UK tax rules require]. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal details, except records we must keep by law.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object. Write to privacy@saltmarshsessions.example.com. You can also complain to [your data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK].
