§Before you write about a PhD
I read every message, and the useful ones share a few things. You do not need a finished proposal.
- Name one paper from the publications list and say what you would change about it.
- Attach a CV and a transcript; grades matter less than which courses you chose.
- Link to code you wrote, even coursework. Proofs count as code.
- Say when you could start and whether you have funding; the 2027 place is fully funded.
