Privacy notice
Template: fill in every highlighted blank before customers use this site. This is a starting point, not legal advice.
Who is responsible
[Business name], [address], decides how your information is used (the controller). Page Lemon hosts this site, runs the sign-in and stores requests and photos for us as our processor.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in and reply to you.
- The requests you send: what the piece is, the service you want, your description and the date you need it by.
- Your answers to our quotes (yes, a question or no) with a drop-off date, and the collection times you book, with the status and replies we add.
- Your first name, if you add it to your profile, so we can greet you.
- The photos or PDFs you upload. Please photograph only the furniture; we never ask for card, bank or ID numbers.
- The updates we post for you: the stage, our quote and our notes.
- Sign-in records (when and from which browser), to keep your account safe.
Why
To quote for and carry out the work you ask for ([legal basis, for example: taking steps to enter a contract with you, and the contract itself]).
Who sees it
You see only your own requests and the updates meant for you. [Who at the business sees them, for example: Bea Corran and Sol Moor].
How long we keep it
[For example: 2 years after the work is collected, and invoices for 6 years as UK tax rules require]. When you leave, your requests and photos are deleted, except records we must keep by law, which we tell you about.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object. Write to [privacy email]. You can also complain to [your data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK].
