We book talks for Huddle 42 to 45, which run from December to March. Send a proposal by Friday 23 October 2026 and we reply by Friday 30 October.
What we want to hear
Something that broke
A release, a rota or a shared spreadsheet that failed in public, and what you changed afterwards.
A tool explained plainly
One thing you use every day, shown with or without slides. Name the trade-off you chose and why.
A number you can defend
Costs, hours, sign-ups or waiting times from your own work, with the sums shown.

Slides optional. Five minutes of questions after, and someone in the room will ask one.
Questions people ask
Do I need to be an expert?
No. Most of our talks come from someone who did a thing once, in a small team, and kept notes.
Can I speak remotely?
Not yet. The room is the point, and we would rather wait a month for you than run a video call on the night.
Are speakers paid?
We do not pay fees. Speakers get a reserved seat for a friend, the first cup of tea and our thanks in the archive.
