Matching that explains itself, line by line.

Furrow works through one queue of bank lines, invoices and payroll. Rules match what they can. Everything else goes to an owner, with the reason written beside it.

Bank lines on the left joined to ledger entries on the right by green connectors

Match by rule, then by person.

Amount, date and reference are checked first. A line can be matched to one invoice, several invoices or a part payment, and each match records the rule that made it.

Approvals that follow your team, not a spreadsheet.

Set who can match, who can approve and who can close the month. Every decision is recorded with the person, the time and the note they left.

  1. Owner clears the line

Lines route to the person named on the account, with the amount, the source and the last change.

  2. Controller reviews the open list

One screen shows what is still open and why. Lines can be sent back with a comment, never silently changed.

  3. Month is signed off

The close locks, the audit trail is sealed for that month and the export is generated from the locked data.

Export to the ledger you already run.

Export a CSV file that your ledger imports, or use the API to send approved entries as they lock. Field names stay the same from month to month.

CSV export: one row per approved line, with account, amount, tax code, owner and approval date.

API: the same fields as JSON, with a stable identifier for each line so re-runs never duplicate an entry.
