Gold and stone jewellery, made in Aldermoor
Made slowly, set by hand.
Rings, pendants and cuffs cut from recycled 18 carat gold at our bench on Gilder’s Row. Every stone is set by hand and checked under a loupe before it leaves the studio.
Every piece starts as a drawing and ends at the bench, where we check it twice.
The collection
Five pieces on the bench this season.
Each one is made to size on request.

How a piece is made
From the first pencil line to the final polish.
Draw it with you
We meet at the bench, sketch three options and agree the stone, metal and weight. You take the sketch home for a week before we start.
Melt, shape and set
Recycled 18 carat gold is melted, rolled and formed by hand. Stones are set under the loupe, one prong at a time.
Polish and deliver
Each piece is polished, hallmarked and sent with a stone certificate and a care card. Collect it at the studio or we post it insured.
Commissions
Bring a drawing, a photograph or a memory.
Commissions take 10 to 14 weeks. We reply within three working days and ask for a deposit of one third before the bench work starts.

“The ring fits like it was measured for my hand, because it was. I have not taken it off since.”
“They sketched three ideas in an afternoon and never pushed me toward the expensive one.”
