Privacy notice
Fill in every highlighted blank before fans use the club. This is a starting point, not legal advice.
Who is responsible
The Lowland Hum, Greyfriars Wharf, Saltcote QT6 3MA, decides how your information is used (the controller). Page Lemon hosts this site, runs the sign-in and stores the questions you send for us as our processor. Stripe takes payments for Insider and Backstage under its own terms.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in and to send the mailing list, if you are on it.
- Your plan (Mailing list, Insider or Backstage) and when it started, changed or stopped. Payments go through Stripe, and we never see your card details.
- The questions you send for the monthly Q&A: the topic and your question.
- Member card scans: your first name, each show stamp, merch discount and signed poster, when, and which member of our merch team scanned it.
- Sign-in records (when and from which browser), to keep your account safe.
Why
To give you the tracks, demos and answers your plan includes, and to send your questions to the band ([legal basis, for example: our contract with you, and your consent for the mailing list]).
Who sees it
You see only your own questions and card history. Merch desk staff see your first name and counts when they scan your card, never your email. [Who reads them, for example: the band and the person who runs the Q&A]. A selection of questions is answered each month without your name or location. Answered questions stay in the published Q&A after you leave.
How long we keep it
[For example: questions for 12 months after they are answered; payment records for 6 years, as UK tax rules require]. When you leave, your unanswered questions are deleted, except records we must keep by law.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object. Write to hello@thelowlandhum.example.com. You can also complain to [your data protection authority, for example the ICO in the UK].
