How the club works
Four things, every month
Say if you're coming
Yes, maybe or no for each meeting, and what you're bringing. Log your page each week and see the pace to finish in time.
Vote on the next book
A shortlist of four, one vote each with a line on why. The winner is posted in the app.
Send notes for the room
A rating, your thoughts and a favourite line. Follow each note to Read out, with Maud's reply.
Check in at the door
Show your code as you come in. After ten meetings, choose a paperback worth up to £12 from the shop.

Where we meet
Step in through the shop
The back room is up two steps, past the poetry shelves. The shop puts the kettle on; members bring biscuits in turn.
Write to hello@lamplightreaders.example.com.
Pull up a chair.
We keep the club at twenty so everyone gets a word in. Email Maud with your name and a book you loved this year: she replies within a week, and sends an invitation to the app when a chair is free. Members are adults, aged 18 or older.
