Wren chair: bent ash in six finishes
A dining chair with a steam-bent back and a loose seat. Made in our workshop from ash that we select board by board.

How one chair is made
- Day 1
Ash selected and cut to length. Moisture checked before any bending.
- Week 1
Back steamed and bent around a jig, then left to set for four days.
- Weeks 2–5
Frame joined, seat fitted, and each finish applied in two coats with a dry day between.
- Week 6
Inspected under daylight, wrapped and delivered or collected.
