Who we are

Open windows, open doors.

Kestby has stood on Chapel Walk since 1868. We are a mixed congregation: retired teachers, shift workers, two choirs, a Polish-speaking prayer group and the families who arrive for the youth club and stay for the coffee.

Nobody has to know the words to sit with us. Ask anything on a Sunday; someone will answer.

Coming up

Three dates in the next few weeks

Full calendar →
  1. Harvest lunch

Soup, bread and the produce table, in the hall after the 10:30 service.

  2. Remembrance service

The names of the town’s war dead are read at 10:30, with poppies to take home.

  3. Carols by candlelight

Our choir and the youth club, at 18:00. Mulled juice and mince pies afterwards.

Children and young people

A place for every age

Children stay with us for the first hymn, then go to children’s church with leaders who have been checked and trained. Teenagers have their own Friday night and their own say in what happens in it.

Families and youth

Three arched panels of ruby, emerald and amber holding simple figures of a child, a parent and a teenager

Giving
