# Fade review — 11 October 2026

Scope: new static barber template. All work stays inside `site/templates/fade/`.

Codex council review (`gpt-6.1-sol`, high) found missing replacement markers on visit-page address/name details, a barber link and schedule day labels; two explanatory notes below the mobile text minimum; and an unmatched selector for the final guard border. These were corrected. A follow-up caught an overly specific mobile current-link rule that changed the booking CTA text to white, and a fictional-name accessibility label. The rule now excludes buttons and the label is generic. The reviewer confirmed the native-radio/CSS chart structure.

Claude council review was attempted with tools disabled and session persistence disabled. It could not run because the installed CLI is not logged in. No Claude approval is claimed.

Local static validation: all eight pages pass `node scripts/check-templates.mjs fade`, with only the expected pipeline PNG warnings. Each title is 50–60 characters; each description is 120–160 characters. Links, forbidden markup/hosts, SVG XML and sizes, inert slot forms, NAP consistency and colours were checked. The generated image files remain absent by instruction.

Browser validation was attempted with the existing checker and production CSP. Local server startup is blocked by `EPERM`; headless Chrome also aborts and no connected browser is available. Responsive layouts and the guard-panel selectors were reviewed from source; rendered visual quality, runtime interaction and browser console/CSP validation remain unverified. The shared script is optional: primary booking links, radio selections and the disclosure menu do not require it.
