# Start from a template

Pick a design from our gallery and let your AI turn it into your own site, with your words, photos and details. Each template comes with a one-line prompt.

## Say this to your AI

Copy the prompt from the template you like. It looks like this:

```prompt
Use template pagelemon.com/tp/Brasa
```

Then say what your site is about, in the same message or the next one: "for my tapas bar in Leeds, open Tuesday to Sunday".

## What happens

1. Your AI opens the template's page, which tells it how the template is built and what to change.
2. It builds your site from the template with your own text, and asks for anything it can't guess.
3. It publishes the site and gives you the link. With the Page Lemon connector, the template's files are copied on our side, so only your changes are sent.

> **Plans:** templates are free on every plan. Features a template shows, such as a booking page or a form, need the plan that includes them: see [Contact forms](/docs/forms) and [Bookings](/docs/bookings).

## Find a template

Browse the [templates gallery](/templates/): 83 designs for cafés, salons, portfolios, launches, events and more. Open one to preview it, then press **Use this template** to copy its prompt.

You don't have to pick one first. Describe what you need and ask your AI to choose:

```prompt
Find a Page Lemon template for a dog-walking business and build my site from it
```

## Change it afterwards

A site made from a template is your site. Change anything by asking, like any other site: colours, fonts, pages, photos. See [Change your site](/docs/edit).

> **Note:** some templates load their fonts from Google Fonts, which sends your visitors' IP addresses to Google. To avoid that, ask your AI to put the font files in your site instead.
