# Share a file

Turn one image or PDF into its own web page with a link you can send, such as a CV, a menu or a poster. The page shows the file with a **Download** button.

## Say this to your AI

```prompt
Share my CV as a file link on pagelemon.com
```

## What happens

1. If the file is in the chat, your AI publishes it straight away. If it's on your phone or computer, your AI gives you a link to the **Share a file** page in your account: drop the file there.
2. You get a new `pagelemon.dev` address with the file on its own page and a **Download** button.
3. Send the link to anyone. It's a site like any other, so you can rename it, protect it with a passcode or delete it later.

You can also go straight to [app.pagelemon.com/share](https://app.pagelemon.com/share), sign in, and pick or drop the file.

> **Plans:** works on every plan, Free included, with a free account. Each shared file is a new site, so it counts towards your plan's live sites (3 on Free). The file can be up to 5 MB on Free and 50 MB on paid plans; through an AI chat, up to 10 MB.

## What you can share

- Images: PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP or AVIF.
- PDF documents.
- One file at a time. SVG images aren't accepted, because they can carry code.

JPEG photos have their location removed before they're stored.

> **Tip:** want the file inside your existing site instead, for example a CV on your portfolio? Ask your AI to "add my CV to my site as a download". It gives you an upload link, and the file goes into your site. See [Change your site](/docs/edit#add-photos-and-files).
