# Combine two accounts

Signed up twice, for example once with Google and once with a work email? You can bring everything into the account you keep: move each site across, close the other account, then sign in to the one you keep with either address.

Your AI can move the sites for you. Closing an account and adding a sign-in address are done by you in the Page Lemon app.

## What your AI will ask you

- Which account you keep, and the email address you sign in to it with.
- Whether the account you close is in a workspace, as its Workspace Owner or as an Admin, a Developer or in a group.
- Whether either account pays for a plan.

## What to have ready

- Both logins: you sign in to each one along the way.
- If the account you close pays for a plan, the plan the account you keep needs for the sites it takes. Your AI tells you before you send them.

## What happens

1. **Move each site.** Signed in to the account you close, ask your AI to transfer each site to the email of the account you keep, or use **Transfer ownership** on each site's page in the app. This works on any plan, Free included. When your AI sends it, you approve each one with a link.
2. **Accept each site.** Open the email in the inbox of the account you keep and accept while signed in to it. If a site needs a bigger plan than that account has, you choose one while accepting. Ask your AI "Is the transfer done?" until every site says accepted.
3. **Sort out workspaces** (below), if the account you close is in one.
4. **Move your plan's unused time and credit,** if the account you close pays for a plan or has credit: before you close it, signed in to it, open **Settings** → **Leaving Page Lemon** → **Move credit** and type the email of the account you keep. We email that account a link: open it signed in to the account you keep and choose **Move it here**. The unused time on its plan and any credit become credit for your next bills there, and its plan ends. If you're still within 14 days of its first payment, skip this step: closing the account refunds that payment instead.
5. **Close the old account.** Signed in to it, open **Settings** → **Profile** → **Delete my login and data**. Download a copy first if you want one (**Settings** → **Leaving Page Lemon**). Anything you didn't move is deleted.
6. **Add the old address to the account you keep.** Signed in to the account you keep, open **Settings** → **Security**. Under **Email addresses**, add the old email address and confirm the code we send; or under **Connected accounts**, connect the Google account you used. From then on, either one signs you in. This works as soon as the old account is closed.

## Workspaces

- **You're a Workspace Admin, a Workspace Developer or in a group with the account you close.** Ask the Workspace Owner or an Admin to invite the email of the account you keep, with the same role and groups, and accept the invite. Then, with the old account, open the workspace and choose **Leave**. Sites you made in the workspace stay in it.
- **You're the Workspace Owner with the account you close.** Invite the account you keep to the workspace and accept the invite. Then, on the workspace page, choose **Make Workspace Owner** next to it, and accept while signed in to the account you keep. Its card then pays for the workspace. Handing a workspace over ends its 14-day full refund. Then leave the workspace with the old account. You can't close an account that is still a Workspace Owner.

> **Plans:** moving a site works on any plan, Free included. The account you keep must have a plan that takes each site: Free takes a site only when it fits Free. Moving sites never changes the plan or bill of the account you close; step 4 ends that plan. [See pricing](/pricing).

## Good to know

- **What moves with each site:** every version, its domains, forms, bookings and orders with their messages, lists, visits and the people on it. See [Hand a site over](/docs/hand-over).
- **What doesn't move:** API tokens and AI connections (connect your AI to the account you keep again), notification settings, your display name and time zone.
- **Referral and promo credit** move with step 4. A promo running on the old plan ends with that plan.
- **Student or startup programme:** it stays yours. Tell us in the same message and we put the time that's left on the account you keep.
- **No new free trial.** Adding the old address doesn't start another trial or referral.
- **Payments on a site:** payment links from another service keep paying the old account's payout details. Change them on the site.
