# Change your site

Ask any AI for a change, in plain words. Your site keeps its address, and every change is saved as a new version you can go back to.

## Say this to your AI

```prompt
Change the opening hours to 9 am to 5 pm and publish it again
```

## What happens

1. Your AI loads the live version of your site, makes the change and publishes it.
2. It replies with the new version number. The site keeps the same address.
3. The change shows within a minute or two (pages are cached for about a minute).

- **Same chat, same AI:** it usually remembers the site and just updates it.
- **New chat or another AI:** once the site is in your account, [connect that AI](/docs/connect) so it can read your site back and update it. You can start in Claude and carry on in ChatGPT: the site stays the same.
- **Two people at once:** if someone changed the site since your AI last loaded it, nothing is overwritten. Your AI is told who changed what, and asks whether to add your change on top.

> **Plans:** changing a site is free on every plan. How far back your version history goes depends on the plan: 7 days on Free, 90 days on Prompter, 1 year on Builder and Team, 2 years on Company.

## Add photos and files

```prompt
Give me an upload link for photos for my site
```

Your AI gives you a link that works for one hour. Open it on your phone or computer, drop your photos or files in, then go back to the chat and say they're uploaded. Your AI puts them on the page. Big photos are made web-sized as they upload, and the location is removed from JPEG photos.

You can also open the site in your account at [app.pagelemon.com](https://app.pagelemon.com) and use **Add photos and files** on its **Overview**.

## Undo a change

```prompt
Undo the last change to my site
```

Or say "roll back my site to version 3". In your account: open the site → **Versions** → **Roll back to this version**. Nothing is deleted: rolling back publishes the old version again as a new version, and newer versions stay saved.

Every version from the last 30 days is kept; older ones are thinned to one a week, back as far as your plan's history goes.

## Rename a site

```prompt
Rename my site to maisoncafe
```

Or open the site → **Settings**. Names use a–z, 0–9 and single hyphens, up to 63 characters, with at least 8 letters or digits on Free and 5 on paid plans. Up to 3 renames a day. When your AI renames a site, you approve it once in your browser. The old address stops working, so update any links you shared.

## Archive, download or delete

- **Archive:** takes a site offline without deleting it and frees a live-site slot. Say "archive my site" (your AI asks you to confirm) or use **Settings**. Visitors see "This site is archived". Say "unarchive my site" to bring it back.
- **Download:** site → **Settings** → **Download .zip** gives every file of the live version, ready to publish anywhere. Your AI can download it for you too.
- **Delete:** say "delete my site" (your AI gives you a link), or site → **Settings** → **Delete site**. Either way you see what will be deleted and type the site's address to confirm (there's a copy button). It goes offline at once, every version is deleted and the address can't be used again. Deleting is permanent: it can't be undone, and the files and history are removed within 7 days, as our [Privacy Policy](/privacy) describes.

> **Note:** a deleted site still counts towards your live-site limit for 30 days. Archive a site instead if you only want to free a slot.
