# Connect ChatGPT

Add Page Lemon to ChatGPT once, and ChatGPT can publish and update your sites. You add one link as a plugin, sign in and click Allow. No token needed.

## Before you start

> **Plans:** works on every Page Lemon plan, Free included. Sign-in makes you a free account if you don't have one. On ChatGPT you need a paid plan on the web.

ChatGPT's menu names change from time to time. If a step looks different, look for **Plugins**. Using Codex? See [Codex](/docs/connect/other#codex).

ChatGPT asks for this link:

```text
https://mcp.pagelemon.com/mcp
```

No paid ChatGPT plan? Ask ChatGPT for your site as one complete page, tap **Copy** on the code and [paste it on pagelemon.com/publish](/publish). No account needed.

## Add Page Lemon to ChatGPT

1. In ChatGPT on the web, open **Plugins** and choose **Add**. If asked, turn on Developer mode in Settings.
2. Create a custom plugin named `Page Lemon` with the link above.
3. For authentication choose **OAuth**, and confirm that you trust it. A Page Lemon page opens.
4. Sign in with Google or your email.
5. The page asks "Let ChatGPT publish your sites?". Check what ChatGPT may do, then click **Allow ChatGPT**. You're back in ChatGPT.
6. In a new chat, turn on the **Page Lemon** plugin.

ChatGPT asks you to confirm before it publishes or changes anything. Choose **Confirm**.

## What ChatGPT can do

- **Publish and update your sites**, and read their files and history.
- **Also invite or remove people, set passcodes, rename sites, and add or remove domains**, if that switch is on. It's on when ChatGPT asks for it, and you can change it. You still approve invites, renames, transfers and deletes in your browser.
- **All your sites, or one site.** Pick one site if you want ChatGPT to work on that site only.

[What you allow](/docs/connect#what-you-allow) has the details.

## Check it works

```prompt
What sites do I have on Page Lemon?
```

If ChatGPT lists your sites, it's connected and signed in. Then ask it to publish your site.

## If something goes wrong

| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| ChatGPT doesn't use Page Lemon | Turn the **Page Lemon** plugin on in a new chat |
| You can't find where to add a plugin | You need a paid ChatGPT plan on the web. On work plans, ask your admin |
| The sign-in page doesn't open | Allow pop-ups for chatgpt.com, then start again |
| "We couldn't connect this app" | The sign-in link is only valid for a few minutes. Start again from ChatGPT |
| ChatGPT says it needs permission to manage | The manage switch was off. Connect again and turn it on, or make that change yourself in the Page Lemon app |

Still stuck? See [Fix a problem](/docs/fix-a-problem) or email [support@pagelemon.com](mailto:support@pagelemon.com).

## Disconnect

Open [dash.pagelemon.com/account/tokens](https://dash.pagelemon.com/account/tokens) (**Settings** → **API tokens & AI apps**) and click **Disconnect** next to ChatGPT. It's signed out at once and your sites stay online. You can also remove the plugin in ChatGPT.
