# Connect your AI

Connect once, and your AI can publish and update every site in your Page Lemon account, from any chat. It takes about two minutes, and Claude and ChatGPT need no token: you sign in and click Allow.

Claude Code, Codex and Cursor can publish your first site with no setup. In Claude or ChatGPT chats, connect once first (about 2 minutes). Can't connect, for example on ChatGPT's free plan? Ask your AI for your site as one `index.html` file and [publish the file yourself](/drop): no account needed.

## Your connector link

Claude, ChatGPT and other chat apps ask for this link. It is also on the **Get started** page in your account at [app.pagelemon.com/start](https://app.pagelemon.com/start).

```text
https://mcp.pagelemon.com/account
```

## Claude

For Claude on the web (claude.ai) and the Claude desktop app.

1. In Claude, open **Settings → Connectors** and click **Add custom connector**.
2. Name it `Page Lemon`, paste the link above and click **Add**.
3. Click **Connect**. A Page Lemon page opens. Sign in with Google or your email (this makes you a free account if you don't have one).
4. Check what Claude may do, then click **Allow**. You're back in Claude.
5. In a chat, open the tools menu and check **Page Lemon** is turned on.

On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, an organisation owner may need to add the connector first.

## ChatGPT

ChatGPT connects to Page Lemon as a plugin. You need a paid ChatGPT plan on the web. ChatGPT's menu names change from time to time; if a step looks different, look for **Plugins**.

1. In ChatGPT on the web, open **Plugins** and choose **Add**. If asked, turn on Developer mode in Settings.
2. Create a custom plugin named `Page Lemon` with the link above.
3. For authentication choose **OAuth**, confirm that you trust it, then sign in to Page Lemon and click **Allow**.
4. In a new chat, turn on the **Page Lemon** plugin.

ChatGPT asks you to confirm before it publishes or changes anything; choose **Confirm**.

## What you allow

The Allow page lists what your AI will be able to do:

- **Publish and update your sites**, and read their files and history.
- **Also manage people, passwords and names** (ticked): connect your own domain, invite co-editors, set a passcode or rename a site. You still approve each sensitive change in your browser. Untick it if you only want your AI to publish.

Each new AI connection shows in your [notifications](https://app.pagelemon.com/notifications), with a link to review it. We usually email you about it too.

## Perplexity, Grok and Le Chat

They connect with the same link. See [Connect Perplexity, Grok or Le Chat](/docs/connect-chat-apps).

## Coding tools

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Cline and Trae each take one command or config block. See [Connect a coding tool](/docs/connect-coding-tools).

## Other apps

Any app that supports remote MCP servers over streamable HTTP can connect. The addresses and sign-in details are in [MCP server and tools](/docs/mcp).

## Check it works

```prompt
What sites do I have on Page Lemon?
```

If your AI lists your sites, it's connected and signed in.

## If something goes wrong

| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Your AI doesn't mention Page Lemon or its tools | Turn the connector on in the chat's tools menu, then start a new chat. In desktop apps, quit and reopen |
| The sign-in page doesn't open | Allow pop-ups for your AI app's site, then click **Connect** again |
| "We couldn't connect this app" | The sign-in link is only valid for a few minutes. Start again from **Connect** in your AI app |
| Your AI says it needs permission to manage | You unticked the manage box. Connect again and leave it ticked, or make that change yourself in your account |
| You can't add custom connectors | On some work plans only an owner can. Ask them to add it |

Still stuck? See [Fix a problem](/docs/fix-a-problem) or email [support@pagelemon.com](mailto:support@pagelemon.com) and say which AI app you use.

## Disconnect

Open [app.pagelemon.com/account/tokens](https://app.pagelemon.com/account/tokens) (**Account settings** → **API tokens**) and click **Disconnect** next to the app. It's signed out at once and your sites stay online. You can also remove the connector in your AI app.
