# Co-editors and hand-over

Let other people change your site with their own AI, share a private draft with viewers, or hand a finished site to a client. Every change is saved as a version that shows who made it.

## Say this to your AI

```prompt
Invite sam@example.com as an editor on my site
```

## What happens

1. Your AI gives you a short Page Lemon link: "Approve adding 1 editor here". Open it and click **Approve**. This one click is the only approval.
2. Sam gets an email invite and accepts by signing in with that same email address.
3. Sam can now change the site from any AI, connected to their own Page Lemon account.

You can also invite people yourself: open the site → **Access** → **Invite someone** in your account.

> **Plans:** how many people can edit a site, you included, follows your plan: 1 on Free (just you), 3 on Prompter, 5 on Builder, 10 on Team, 25 on Company. Invites not yet accepted count too. On Free, your AI can offer a 14-day free trial with no card, and asks before starting it.

## Who can do what

| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything: invite and remove people, rename, archive, delete and hand the site over |
| Editor | Publish changes and roll back, from their own AI too |
| Viewer | See the site and its history, for example a private draft. Can't change anything |

Viewers come on top of editors: 3 per site on Free, 25 on Prompter, 50 on Builder and Team, 100 on Company.

Viewers are different from members of a members-only site, who can only open the site. See [Passcodes and members-only](/docs/private-sites).

## Working together

- **Nobody overwrites anyone.** If someone changed the site since your AI last loaded it, your AI is told who changed what and when, and nothing is published until you choose to add your change on top.
- **See who changed what.** Each version records who published it. Ask "What changed on my site this week?" or open the site → **Versions**.
- **Undo** any change: "Roll back my site to version 4." Rolling back adds a new version, so nothing is lost.

## Turn off AI invites

Every site lets your AI invite people, and you approve each invite. To stop it, untick **Let my AI invite people to this site** under the site's **Access** tab, or tell your AI "Don't let AIs invite people to this site". You can still invite people yourself, and your AI can still remove people.

## Remove someone

```prompt
Remove sam@example.com from my site
```

Your AI asks you to confirm, then Sam loses access at once.

## Hand a site to a client

```prompt
Transfer my site to client@example.com and keep me as an editor
```

1. You approve the transfer in your browser.
2. Your client gets an email and accepts by signing in. They need a paid plan of their own: at least Prompter, or Team if the site takes bookings (a higher plan only if the site has more domains or people than that plan allows). They pay Page Lemon directly; your own plan and bill don't change.
3. The site moves to them with every version, its connected domains, and its forms and bookings with their data. If you asked, you stay on as an editor.

Until they accept, you can cancel: "Cancel the transfer". A domain stays registered wherever it was bought: to move the registration itself, see [Your own domain](/docs/connect-domain#move). Transfers work on any paid plan; on Free, your AI can offer a 14-day free trial.

## Team workspaces

Team and Company are shared workspaces at one flat price, not per seat. The workspace owns the sites, and up to 10 (Team) or 25 (Company) people edit every workspace site with their own accounts. Move an existing site into a workspace the same way as a transfer. See [Plans and billing](/docs/billing#team-workspaces).
