# Bookings

Let customers book a time on your own site. Visitors pick a free time and book; Page Lemon stops double bookings and emails you and your customer. Set it up by asking your AI, then manage bookings in your account or keep asking.

## Say this to your AI

Tell it what you offer, who does it and your hours:

```prompt
Add bookings: haircut 30 minutes, cut and colour 90 minutes, with Anna and Leo. Tuesday to Saturday, 9 to 6.
```

For a restaurant, say your tables and party sizes instead:

```prompt
Add a booking form so people can book a table for 2, 4 or 6, Tuesday to Sunday, 12 to 3 and 6 to 10
```

## What happens

1. Your AI asks only what it can't sensibly assume, then shows you the setup with the defaults it chose, such as closed days and whether you approve bookings first.
2. It puts the booking page into your site, in your colours, and makes a test booking before telling you it's live.
3. When a customer books, they get a confirmation email with a calendar invite and a link to move or cancel. You get an email too.
4. See and manage bookings in your account (site → **Bookings**), or ask your AI.

> **Plans:** bookings come with the Business plans: Team (2,000 bookings a month) and Company (5,000), and Enterprise. Prompter and Builder don't include bookings; booking pages made on them before 12 October 2026 keep working. Each date in a repeating series counts as one booking, and test bookings don't count.

## Manage bookings by asking

```prompt
Who's booked tomorrow?
```

- "Any booking requests waiting?"
- "Add a phone booking for Priya, Thursday 9:30, haircut with Anna."
- "We're closed 24 to 26 December."
- "Move Grace's booking to Friday afternoon."
- "When is Leo free on Saturday?"
- "Book Tom every Tuesday at 5 for 10 weeks." If a date clashes, your AI tells you first and can skip it.

Anything that emails a customer, such as cancelling or moving a booking, is checked with you before it happens.

When you ask to see your bookings, your AI can give you a link straight to the bookings view in your account.

## The bookings view in your account

Open the site → **Bookings** at [app.pagelemon.com](https://app.pagelemon.com):

- Today, this week or everything upcoming, grouped by day, with filters by status and staff member.
- Requests wait at the top for **Approve** or **Decline**.
- Move, edit or cancel a booking. Tick the box to email the customer the new details.
- Add a phone or walk-in booking, close a day, and mark past bookings as done or no-show.
- Export your bookings as a spreadsheet.

New bookings and requests waiting for you also show on **Notifications** (the bell at the top), under **Bookings**, for all your sites at once.

A site has one booking system: for more staff, rooms or services, ask your AI to add them to it rather than adding a second booking page.

## Settings your AI can use

| Setting | What you can choose |
|---|---|
| Opening hours | Different hours each day, several opening periods a day |
| Closures | Single days, date ranges or the same date every year, closed or with special hours |
| Services | Up to 20, each with its own length, a price shown on the page and a break before or after |
| Staff and rooms | Up to 20, each with their own hours and days off, and which services they do. Customers can pick someone or "any available" |
| Places per time | For classes and tables: how many people can book the same time, and the largest group online |
| Notice and how far ahead | The least notice you need (an hour unless you change it) and how far ahead people can book (60 days unless you change it, up to a year) |
| Approval | Confirm instantly, approve every booking, approve one service, or approve groups over a size. Unanswered requests are cancelled after 24 hours unless you change it |
| Cancelling and moving | How late customers can cancel or move their own booking (24 hours before unless you change it) |
| Questions | Up to 10 extra questions, such as "First visit?". Answers go to you only |
| Reminders | Up to two per booking |

## Calendars

- **Your calendar app:** ask for your private calendar feed to see bookings in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.
- **Busy times blocked:** give your AI your calendar's private link, and times you're busy there can't be booked. If that link stops working for more than a day, booking pauses and you're emailed once a day until it's fixed.

> **Note:** customers can't pay when they book yet. Prices show on the booking page as text, and payment is arranged as you do today. Confirmations and reminders go by email; there are no text messages.
