# Visits and analytics

See how many people visit your site, which pages they read and where they came from. Visit counts are built in on every kept site, with no cookies, no tracking script and no cookie banner to add.

## Say this to your AI

```prompt
How many visitors did my site get this week?
```

On a paid plan, ask for more detail:

```prompt
Where did my visitors come from this month, compared with last month?
```

## What happens

1. Your AI reads your site's numbers and answers in plain words: views, visitors, and on paid plans the top pages, sources, countries and devices.
2. You can see the same numbers in your account: open the site → **Analytics**, and choose the last 7 days, 30 days or 12 months.

There's nothing to install. Page Lemon counts visits as it serves your pages.

> **Plans:** every kept site shows totals for the last 7 days on Free. Paid plans add sources, top pages, countries, devices and a comparison with the period before, with history of 90 days on Prompter, 1 year on Builder and Team, and 2 years on Company.

## What's counted

| You see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Views | Pages opened |
| Visitors | Different people, counted per day |
| Sources | The site or link that sent them, such as Instagram or a search engine, and `utm_source` tags on your links |
| Top pages | Which pages were opened most |
| Countries and devices | Where visitors are and whether they use a phone, tablet or computer |

Search engine robots and other bots aren't counted, and neither are visitors whose browser asks not to be tracked (Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control).

## Privacy

- No cookies and no script are added to your site, so you don't need a cookie banner for our analytics.
- No full IP address is stored. A visitor is recognised for one day only, with a key that changes every day and is thrown away.
- Detailed visit records are deleted after 30 days; only the daily totals are kept for your plan's history.
